The Ancient Mariner sets sail again from Friday 27th March at noon.
The pub you know, refreshed and ready for the season ahead. A few thoughtful improvements, a traditional bar, and a menu of seafood and well-cooked pub classics.

Tables are now open for bookings from lunch through to dinner, every day at The Ancient Mariner Inn. Booking is not essential, but sometimes it's nice to know there is a table when you need it.

Stay next door...
It’s not just the pub that’s had some attention.
The Boathouse and lodges at Le Strange Arms have been refreshed. The view is still the main event, but the interiors have been given a careful update to make stays even more comfortable.
And it doesn’t hurt that there’s a pub right next door....
